Privacy Policy

Here’s what we do with your data. Not a poem. Not a threat.

I hate privacy policies that read like a hostage note written by a committee. So this is the version I wish every site had: the one that tells you what we collect, what we don’t, and what you can ask us to delete—without pretending any of this is “for your convenience” when it’s mostly for basic website operation.

Effective

Effective date: 2026-04-07

This policy applies to this website and its pages. If you email us, you’re also choosing to send us information. (I know that sounds obvious. It’s amazing how many policies try to hide that behind Latin.)

Data we may collect

What we collect

We may collect basic technical data that most websites collect automatically, like your IP address, device/browser type, approximate location (derived from IP), pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us understand whether the site works and whether anyone is actually reading it.

If you contact us by email, we collect what you send: your email address and the contents of your message. If you include personal information, that’s on purpose (yours), but we still treat it carefully.

Data we try not to collect

What we don’t intentionally collect

We don’t ask for sensitive personal data to read a page. We don’t sell your personal information. And we don’t build a creepy profile of you across other sites, because (1) it’s gross and (2) it’s not the point of this site.

Cookies

Cookies and similar tech

This site may use cookies or local storage for basic functionality (for example, remembering simple preferences) and for aggregated analytics. If you block cookies in your browser, the site should still be readable; it may just be less “helpful,” which is sometimes a blessing.

Use

How we use information

We use collected information to operate the site, respond to messages, prevent abuse, and understand what content people actually want. We don’t use it to stalk you. If we ever add a new use that’s meaningfully different, we’ll update this page.

Sharing

When we share information

We may share information with service providers that help run the website (like hosting/analytics) in the ordinary way websites work. We may also disclose information if required by law. We don’t share for “fun.”

Retention

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Email messages may be retained so we can continue a conversation, unless you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

Your rights and choices

You can request access to or deletion of personal information you’ve shared with us by emailing anayafranco302@gmail.com. If you request deletion, we’ll make reasonable efforts to remove the information from our records, unless we need to keep it for legal or security reasons.

Privacy questions

If something here feels vague, tell us. Vague policies are how companies get away with things. I’m not interested in helping that tradition continue.
